After looking at many places we liked this hotel as it had a pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam with the facilities. It has a winery on site and we got to taste one of the wines which was amazing. The owner Doreen, was welcoming upon arrival and was easy to communicate with during our stay. We were able to use the laundry which was a plus. We were a family of 7 and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and the 1 bed small villa. The rooms were beautiful and modern and clean. The 2 bed had a king size bed and 2 single beds, One shower and one bath and plenty of space for a crib. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made use of it. We had breakfast every morning on the lawn and stocked up from the local lidl 10 mins away. The grounds were stunning and scenic. Poggibonsi was only 10 mins away with a few restaurants, bars and dessert. San Gigimano was 20 mins away which was well worth the visit. Siena 30 mins away and Florence was 1 hour away. Perfect location for some site seeing and relaxation. Wineries are as close as 8 minutes away and restaurants around the area were within 15 mins either in the towns or in the mountains. Would recommend restaurant Triocco for a view. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone. Well worth the money !!

Suite Bobo relax nel chianti classico gallo nero se encuentra en Strada, a solo 10 km de Piazza Matteotti, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis. Licio is a wonderful, friendly host, always willing to help and provide advice. The outside area has a great view down the valley. Although Strada is not a big town, this was a wonderful base to explore Chianti and Florence from. Good restaurants nearby but we also liked the ability to self-cater. Apartment is spacious with a sleeping area and a sitting room.

Palazzo Malaspina B&B está en Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, a 19 km de Piazza Matteotti y a 32 km de Piazzale Michelangelo. The staff were fantastic (warm, kind and professional), the accommodation gave a truly authentic whilst utterly charming Italian experience, the breakfast was superb; a new homemade cake each day, the quality of the products top notch, the eggs! And Mary makes wonderful cappuccinos. Mary, Matteo and Maria all provided excellent tips for our stay and Matteo was able to organise dinner for us at La Toppa on very short notice - equally outstanding experience and literally next door! There were small touches that pushed the hospitality over the top, like quality mini easter eggs readily accessible in beautiful glass jars and freshly made chocolate biscuits at hand next to the tea and coffee in the shared area.

Best experience, staff and getaway. When you arrive, you immediately feel at peace at this beautiful resort. A perfect getaway that heals the soul. The staff was the best we’ve ever experienced - Marco, Ines, Daniela, Sabrina, just to name a few. They all went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, helping us with anything we needed and providing us with lots of laughs. They were very gracious, helpful, and giving. The wine tasting with Ines was a highlight. We spent hours chatting with her, enjoying delicious wine, cheese, bread and olive oil. She was absolutely amazing and we had a lot of fun. And bought wine to take home! The room was spacious and homey, with our own living room and kitchen to enjoy to ourselves. The restaurant provided delicious meals and nightly entertainment from Marco on the piano, creating a perfect and romantic ambience. An experience we will never forget and we will certainly be back!
