This was truly the best accomodation we have ever stayed in and for sure the best during our 3 weeks travel across Japan. The accomodation basically consists of a two floored house (so much space is so rare in Japan), with a beautiful modern bathroom on ground level including a bathtube facing out to a wonderful zen garden. The main rooms are on the first floor with a massive living room, a tatami room and a bedroom with the biggest and most comfortable bed. All rooms were spotless clean, bathrobes and pyjamas were offered. The bedroom view and balcony to the zen garden outside created a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best things definitely was the breakfast which is provided in an extra breakfast room downstairs at the café (which you cannot here from the flat) - not only is the room beautiful and very special but the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious: every day different sorts of freshly baked bread, incredibel pastries (so pretty!), fresh fruit and vegetables created in the most delicious and delicate way. We couldnt have asked or wished for more. On top of all this is Ryoko as lovely, welcoming and very thoughtful and caring host (pick up service from the train station, extra blankets unasked when the weather turned colder). This accomodation made our trip to Kanazawa extra special and unforgettable!

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. Bungo-san and his mother, our hosts were amazing! So patient with all my questions. So helpful all the time. The rooms are super special. Very traditional. A complete japanese experience.

Everything was perfect: the place was spotless, modern, and felt brand new. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having both a washing machine and dryer was a big plus. The rooms were cozy and spacious. Parking right in front of the door was very convenient. We received a warm welcome and excellent support throughout our stay through our great host.

A dream house in Noto with beautiful sea views. The pictures in Booking doesn’t even make justice. It is decorated with a lot of taste. It is super clean and comfortable. And it has a small table outside which is very rare thing in japan.

We had such an amazing time from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The baths were stunning and really clean. We particularly enjoyed the rock bath. It is about a 25min taxi ride to most of the sights and attractions in Kanazawa. That didn’t bother us because really enjoyed the serene and private feel of being further from the city, but something to keep in mind. Also, I was blown away by the meals and by how fresh all of the food was. If staying here, definitely attend the breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. It almost had the feel of a Michelin star restaurant.

This apartment is gorgeous, spacious, modern with respect for the beautiful wood structure beneath which has been maintained with great care.

Shower/hot tub room is big with very nice toiletries. We really like the shampoo and conditioner provided. Kitchen and laundry facilities are great. The stairs to upper level room is steep. typical old Japanese house, not much problem for us but people with knee problems should take note on this. Kenrokuen garden is walking distance but we need to walk up the hill to reach the park. We rented Noah mpv for our trip and the parking space is just nice to fit the car

Our friendly host was there to receive us when we arrived, and gave us a tour of the 100year old timber house / to show us how to enjoy the place. Went with my Parents, my brother and sister in law, and 2 kids and had a blast. We were driving a Toyota Alphard which was too big to park in the front yard of the property, but the host had a nearby parking spot next door / so it was completely fuss free (: Kitchen is well equipped, the place is very clean, and the Castle is very nearby. Exceptional stay!
