The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

The young man looking after us and our room was absolutely amazing. The staff were very flexible about us needing to change the breakfast time. Highly recommend.

Situato a soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia Shirahama di Shimoda, il Beach Side Inn Shirahama è una struttura accogliente e accogliente con caldi pavimenti e arredi in legno. Breakfast was very lovely - super easy, but still yummy. Also great that it’s set up so you can take it away or eat there depending on what your day holds. The private onsens were also wonderful

A 41 km da Lago di Kawaguchi a Fujinomiya, Torinami Fuji View House prevede alloggi con WiFi gratuito e aria condizionata e un giardino con una terrazza. The property is away from the noisy town, with a lot of nature around. The owners are awesome and really chill, Hana picked us up at the train station and even offered us to take us to the supermarket before going to the house. The house is extra clean, well equipped and super comfy, you could see Fuji from the window. The e-bikes were a must, it let us move around on our own and get to know a lot of fujinomiya, we even crossed paths with wild Tunakis. We definitely had a great time
