El Ryokan Hostel K's House ocupa un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad declarado bien cultural tangible situado en Shizuoka, a 7 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes JR Ito. El hostel es increíble. Una experiencia tradicional japonesa inolvidable. Fuimos a habitación compartida y hubo un problema con un huésped que llegó borracho, pero el personal del hotel lo resolvió rapidísimo y muy amablemente nos dieron otra habitación. El onsen es soñado. Me metí cuando no había gente y pude disfrutarlo yo sola. Incluso llovió y nos dieron paraguas y un aparato para secar las zapatillas. Super atentos. Vayan si o si!!

さかのみち-sakanomichi se encuentra en Nakatsugawa y dispone de salón de uso común, restaurante, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. I'm afraid my words will not be enough to express how much I loved my stay here. Kenさん and Yukiさん were extremely welcoming. I enjoyed my conversations with them, learning about Magome-juku, umeshu, and many other things despite my very lacking Japanese skills. When it was time for me to leave and embark on my hike to Tsumago-juku, they ran after me to give me a bottle of iced water to help me with the summer heat. I almost teared up from their kindness. I was on a solo trip for my birthday and they gave me the most memorable moment of my trip. Other things to note about this guesthouse: Room: I'm not sure about the other rooms but I secured the best one. It had an amazing view of Magome-juku. There is only a futon but it was very comfortable. The room is air-conditioned and although not sound-proof, Magome is quiet and you can hear the peaceful sounds of water flowing through the canals at night. Shared spaces: The shared spaces include the dining area, living area, toilets, showers, and an indoor bath. There is also a laundry area which you can use for a small fee (about 500 yen if I'm not mistaken). Reception is not 24/7 and the lights out is at 10pm I think. The shared spaces are not only clean, but they're also beautifully designed! Lots of dried flowers as decoration. Meals: You can opt to have dinner and breakfast here again for a small fee. Dinner is Indian curry and let me just say-- it was delicious! I had the spicy chicken keema, although personally I wish it was a bit spicier. The homemade yogurt was simply amazing. Breakfast is a simple spread of eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals, a variety of fruits, and drinks such as homemade juice and coffee from the coffee shop down the street. This was again very good and I enjoyed it more than I expected. I feel like Magome is a one-time destination because of its size, but I definitely want to come back and stay at sakanomichi again!

伊東山荘-Toki- está en Ito, a 30 km de Templo Shuzenji, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Great location for a short getaway. The facilities are great; they have everything you need. Highly recommended.

横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ está en Shimoda, a 33 km de Cabo Koibito Misaki, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

TIAD, Autograph Collection se encuentra en Nagoya, a 11 min a pie de Oasis 21, y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, parking privado y bar. Pretty much flawless. Clean, quiet, comfortable, delicious, friendly, convenient, spacious, stylish, you name it.

THE MACHIYA HOTEL TAKAYAMA está en Takayama, a 7 min a pie de Estación de Takayama, y dispone de servicio de conserjería, habitaciones libres de humo, jardín, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y... Desayuno estupendo y la localizacion ideal. Para mi el mejor hotel Takayama con servicio exquisito.

A wonderfully appointed apartment with everything (and more) we could have needed. Beautifully decorated, in the heart of the city, easy walking distance from the train station, the temples, the festivals, near all kinds of restaurants, cafes, just a wonderful location.

Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu está en Izunokuni, a 10 km de Templo Shuzenji, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. I enjoyed the variety of Onsen. The food was delicious. Staff were so nice too.

Bousui está en Higashiizu, a 2,7 km de Playa de Atagawa You Yu, y dispone de alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y bar. Everything was perfect. Amazing romantic gateway. 10/10 Friendly staff. Amazing dinner and breakfast. Relaxing. Amazing bath.
