The hotel is located in the mountains of Ella. A special van with driver pick up is needed to take you to the property. It is a rough 15 minute drive from the pick up spot to the hotel. Once you reach the hotel, you can understand the rough drive- the minute you enter the hotel, you are greeted by probably the best views you can get in all of Sri Lanka. The room and swimming pool offer the same views and you can spend hours appreciating it. A special mention to Mr. Kawindu who was there for us whenever we needed him - he picked and dropped us to and from the pick up spot regardless of the time, was available at the reception and kitchen helping out with everything! What a guy! Also, shout-out to the entire crew managing different parts of the property for making our stay a memorable one. The room we booked was gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable. Opt for the Sri Lankan breakfast option, the fish curry is not to be missed! Can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ella!

This place is absolutely AMAZING.The attention to detail in everything from room presentation to meals to staff and owners is impeccable. I cannot speak highly enough of everything and everyone. Please don’t be put off by the 17m2 room advertising as the size is double that with butiful outdoor setting and an added private jacuzzi. We fell in love with this place and didn’t want to leave.!!!

Spectacular location with breathtaking view. Friendly staff with typical Sri Lankan hospitality. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are modern and spacious.

Το Nine Arch Corner είναι ένα κατάλυμα που προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στον κήπο. Βρίσκεται σε Ella, σε απόσταση μόλις 1,6 χλμ από Little Adam's Peak. I stayed there 1 night, room is nice and clean, family is super nice and helpful,. Location is not in center but owner takes you from station with a tuktuk for free and can arrange trips with tuktuk . They have a nice garden and share their yummy products they grow with you :)

Very comfortable separate house with a great view and all facilities. It is a perfect place to relax on weekends, enjoy the silence and beautiful nature. The owner is very nice and helpful young lady and she cooked for us tasty breakfasts. We totally felt at home in this place.

We had the most perfect two nights at Hapu Tales. Muni goes above and beyond as a host, and her team put so much effort into making it a relaxing and comfortable place to stay; every detail has been thought of and the team were so helpful and friendly, we really felt like we were staying with friends. We had all of our meals in and the food was brilliant, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine with lots of flavour. The location is brilliant for exploring the beautiful surrounding sites but definitely make sure you stay long enough to take the time to relax by the pool or on the terrace with the breathtaking views. We stayed two nights and were sad to leave - it’s the perfect place to recharge and relax.

The rooms were very nice and clean, The beds were comfortable, the staff super friendly and the food was great. Just a 20 minute and beatifull hike to see diyaluma waterfalls. The views from the hotel are 10/10. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone

Recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royo Rock Ella Hotel, You are truly ontop of the world. The view is breathtaking, really magical. Make sure you get up at sunrise to see the stunning skies, hear the birds and the chanting too. The room was superb, way better than we expected actually and was huge. We had dinner in our room one night too which was a real treat. The Bathtub is great and a really lovely backdrop. The dinner was great and the breakfast was too. Special mention to the hotels Tuk Tuk driver who is on hand for trips into Ella and suggested a great place to stop for the best views of the 9 arch bridge.We felt really spoilt. The staff were really warm and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay..

We had a wonderful 2 nights at this beautiful hotel. The location is close enough to Ella but also far enough away to feel remote and in the mountains. The views & endless pool were incredible ! Also very friendly staff, clean rooms & good food.
