The rooms and the entire hotel were very clean and tidy. But above all, it was the staff that stood out.They were genuinely friendly and always ready to help.

Experience the Original Maldives in barefoot eco-luxury at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with every need we had. The island ia very close to Male (20-25 min by speedboat) and it has a very nice house reef. The food was very good and varied and the massages at the spa were excellent.

I stayed one night at Hulhule Island Hotel in Malé after my speedboat transfer to Dhighura was cancelled due to rough seas, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the location and facilities are excellent — perfect for a short stay near the airport. I even had the chance to enjoy a quick snorkel right there, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and I want to especially thank the kind egg chef who noticed I was struggling with an injured hand and helped plate my food — such a thoughtful gesture! The bar staff were also fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended even if it’s a bit pricey — the service and comfort make it well worth it.
