The craftsmanship in the rooms, the locally made furniture, the atmosphere… it’s unlike anything I’ve seen, not just in the area, but anywhere in Europe and UAE. The quality is outstanding. Every corner of the place feels special, and it’s clear that a lot of heart went into building and running it. You can’t compare this to a standard hotel stay—this is an experience. If you choose the Viking experience for dinner, prepare to be surprised. The feeling, the food, the entire setting—it’s something else. The fish dish in particular was incredibly fresh and simply prepared in the best way possible. It lets the flavor speak for itself. The Viking house is truly one of a kind. How can anything compare to that? Olef clearly loves his place and his history. He doesn’t just run the hotel—he lives it. He is a genuine Viking, and it shows in every part of what he’s created here.

A feeling of home the moment you enter, with a very pleasant scent :) Views, amazing kitchen, cleanliness 11/10! A lot of attention to details and rare art pieces. Super comfy bed, with the best views out of your bed you can imagine.

Sara is an excellent and caring host! She gave us great tips on where to shop and what to see, and was always available to answer questions about the house and the surrounding area. Villa Freya is an exeptional holiday home with really everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We stayed there with our children and their partners and felt right at home immediately. Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, tolle Gastgeber, wir hatten ein super Frühstück und Abendessen mit regionalen Produkten. Direkt vom Haus aus haben wir eine Bergwanderung unternommen. Es war unser Highlight der Skandinavien Tour, Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft bei Euch.

Die Unterkunft Dream Cabin Mivo X - Mountain Views and Idyllic Location at Strandafjellet, die über eine Terrasse verfügt, bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Stranda mit kostenlosem WLAN und... Martin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Er hat uns mit allen Belangen immer gut aushelfen können. An der Unterkunft gefiel uns am meisten die Sauna und der Kamin. Die regionalen Produkte waren ein toller Bonus!

Da es am Ankunftstag regnete und relativ kühl war, hatten die Gastgeber den Kaminofen angeheizt und das Feuer knisterte im Ofen.
