Very private and beautifully located overlooking the vineyard. There is no TV which is a great thing. Absolutely loved our stay and would have stayed longer if we hadn't been returning home. The restaurant service, food and wine was excellent.

Everything - from the moment I entered, I was greeted by the alpacas and Fergus (dog). Barbara came out to personally greet me and it was all up from there. Beautifully decorated home, wonderful warm service with a smile and delicious breakfast. Barbara is the best host. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. You can tell she is an interior designer - my bedroom exuded luxury bed linen. Quality is top notch - 5 star hotel equivalent. All her Christmas decorations are up and I'm now inspired to dress up my home accordingly. All the beautiful pieces in her house tell a story of all their travels. I'm going back just to hear her stories and get some ideas about interior designing. My best stay ever over the last 20 years of work travel. Next time I'm going to stay longer and with family.

One of our favourite stays on a 3 week trip around the South Island! If anything the photos don’t do it justice. Peaceful and private with plenty of space and beautifully clean. We loved having BBQs on the terrace. The master bedroom was exquisite with a view onto the patio and the outdoor bath surrounded by fragrant lupins. The upstairs bedrooms were kept nicely cool by fans in the hot weather we were lucky to have. We all slept brilliantly in the big comfy beds. Laundry facilities were an added bonus for us, neatly tucked away behind sliding doors in the master - very convenient.

We were very happy with this B&B. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were comfortable. We were welcome to use the patio table to relax at. We slept beautifully in very comfortable beds. A nice breakfast was offered. The morning that we left we had an early flight. Regardless, the host was there to say goodbye and to ensure we had some breakfast before departing.
