Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

Well designed and cosy, home away from home. Beautiful hosts, that went extra mile, by popping the heater on before I returned on a very chilly evening.

Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides home away from home accommodation with own parking and decks plus private in room free Wi-Fi with smart TV's.... All the amenities were functioning and excellently maintained. The room size was superb. The apartment's location was excellent. The hot tub and sauna were really nice. There were plenty of nice restaurants , convenience stores and attractions nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

Located on the banks of the Whanganui River, this holiday park features a well-equipped games room and several playground areas. My family love everything that the park and staff provided thankyou so much

Situated only 4 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune, The Central Motel & Lodge features an outdoor hot tub. All studios and apartments include self-catering facilities and electric blankets. Pristine condition, great location, very helpful owners. Spa is a nice amenity.

Large, spacious property with nice views in multiple directions. Close to Virginia Lake park. Nice stopover between Taupo and Wellington. We enjoyed eating at the Rutland Arms Hotel in the old part of town.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a girls' weekend and absolutely loved it. The chalet was gorgeous—super cozy and well set up—and the location was amazing, and the owner was lovely and made everything really easy. Already keen to book our next trip!
