The rooms are spotless, and the beds are very comfortable. Such a lovely place to stay; I’ll definitely be back!

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Such a great place to stay. Very friendly welcome at reception who informed us of great places to visit around the area. The motel is walking distance into town. The room was so tidy and you can tell effort was spent in replacing fixtures for improvement. Bathroom was big and space in the living room to sit around and enjoy watching some TV in the evening.

This is a dream property with amazing hosts. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the gate. They have created such cozy spaces for guests and the provide great amenities like coffee and tea, toast and other small breakfast items. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! What a great place to stay! All very new and well equipped. The best kitchen I’ve seen on my trip. I stayed in one of the cabins with lake view, but I got really into the camping vibe because of this place. Just be aware you have to go outside to go to the bathroom/wash your hands - no sink in the cabin. Not a problem for me though.
