Perfect spot to explore Abel Tasman! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The room and bed were super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast on the patio was great. We were able to do laundry while there, too, which was a nice bonus. The owner was a very nice lady, quite helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again one day!

We loved our stay at Ratatnui Lodge - the staff was so accommodating to anything and everything we needed. The rooms were very comfortable; outdoor jacuzzi (needed to be cleaned but still nice) and pool area were a great bonus. Included breakfast was amazing and I had the delicious blueberry pancakes both days. Dinner and Bar/Drinks were also exceptional. Location is great for exploring the north and west side of Abel Tasman. We planned to take a water taxi to the east side but the road was closed to due slips (not a problem we did that on our way out from the east side of the park). Room included basics such as tea and coffee - robes included for relaxing. Truly this was one of our favorite places we stayed. Staff helped us coordinate our activities and when we had to cancel one due to the road being out they made sure we got our refund. Amazing stay!!!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm, friendly, and inviting hosts, Donna and Mike, who made us feel right at home. The property itself is a serene oasis, nestled in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views of the mountainside. We truly was able to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The natural beauty surrounding the accommodation creates a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Accommodations- Our accommodations were nothing short of top-notch. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with comfortable beds, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches ensuring a luxurious and relaxing stay. Culinary Delights- Mornings at Harakeke were a treat, as we looked forward to starting our day on the patio for breakfast. The spread included local fresh fruits, jams, cheeses, homemade chutney, and bread, showcasing the best of New Zealand's local produce. Evening Relaxation- As the day wound down, we found ourselves drawn to the spa. Sitting in the warm waters with a glass of local wine while admiring the setting sun was truly magical, offering a perfect end to each day of our stay. Local Exploration- One of the highlights of our visit was the wealth of local knowledge shared by our gracious hosts. Donna and Mike provided many lovely suggestions for exploring the area, from nearby walking trails to recommendations for the best local vineyards and cafes. Their insights truly enhanced our experience and allowed us to discover hidden treasures we might have otherwise missed. As we reluctantly packed our bags at the end of our 3-night stay, we found ourselves already planning our next visit. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations has made Harakeke Boutique Accommodation a must-return destination for us. We look forward to booking and visiting the area again in the near future, eager to create more wonderful memories in this slice of New Zealand paradise.
