Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. Was even better, than I expected. The photos of the room do not show full picture. The room had everything we needed: cosy dining area, equiped with kitchenette, big bathroom, comfy beds. And most important for us - they allow dogs!

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. A magical stay surrounded by mountains, forests, a lake and a stream. We enjoyed the view from the window and the spa in every weather. At least 4 different nature trails start from the hotel door and they're all nice. Instead of googling "Tatras best hikes", just start walking in any direction from Velické Pleso and you won't regret it. Generous buffet at breakfast and dinner and delicious food and drinks for lunch. If you read negative reviews about the "tourist restaurant", note that that's the backpackers hut. The hotel restaurant is only available to hotel guests and the lunch options are delicious. We were told you can also ask for packed lunch for the hike, but it wasn't possible because we hadn't ordered it in advance. A free-of-charge spacious private spa by reservation with saunas and a beautiful view. You can send your luggage from their lower parking lot at the Tatranská Polianka railway station by their van and hike to the hotel. You can even leave it in a storage unit for them to pick up, you just need to coordinate in advance.

Accommodation Grand hotel Starý Smokovec is located in Starý Smokovec, 18 km from Štrbské pleso. Guests have access to a common room, paid hotel parking, a terrace and a bar. Great location. Good spa facilities very well stocked breakfast with great availability of food.

A hidden gem. You can start hiking tours just at the hotel. I love these mountains so much. Great staff. So friendly and helpful. I really felt welcome. Very clean and tidy. There was all that I needed. Wonderful breakfast. Strong wifi.

Το Vila Lavina βρίσκεται σε Stary Smokovec, σε ακτίνα 15 χλμ από Strbske Pleso και 25 χλμ από Treetop Walk. Είναι ένα κατάλυμα που προσφέρει κήπο και βεράντα. Nice old villa from the monarchian times, recommended.

To TATRYSTAY Private Apartments Hrebienok είναι σε Stary Smokovec, σε Prešovský kraj, και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Such a great place to have a vacation and go for the Tatra hike, service was great and the rooms were super clean and beautiful.

Was nice that we got not villa Horec, but hotel Hubert. Everything was in the same building. With child (3years) was very comfortable. Also we liked children activities, play room, animators (even if we do not speak slovakian) was very interesting and fun! , cinema with different movies every evening. Also we liked surrounding, horses, sheeps, birds and so on, like mini zoo - daughter really loved the place, so do I , and husband , too! Thank you!
