Die Unterkunft ON Thapae Gate Chiangmai, die in Chiang Mai, 400 m von Tor Tha Pae entfernt gelegen ist, bietet einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse. An absolutely wonderful stay. Our room was ready earlier than check in time and the front desk staff were one of the best i have interacted with on my several travels. Our chosen room type was spacious, with large windows throughout that let in a lot of natural light during the day and the AC cooled the room very well. Fast wifi, warm water in the shower with good pressure. I have to highlight the staff again who went out of their way to check on us everyday during breakfast, greeted us everytine we came back at night and even came to see us off outside when our taxi arrived to take us to the airport on our last day. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to lovely Chiang Mai.

This is the perfect place to stay when in Chiangmai. It is right at the center of the old town where plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places abound. It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

It's a gorgeous hotel in the mountains, perfect for those who want to disconnect. The onsen in the balcony of the room was great, the food at the restaurant was of very good quality and for a reasonable price. The onsen was great.
