What a beautiful place, thank you for sharing it with other people! We‘ve enjoyed our stay to the max. Everything has been perfect and uncomplicated, from the first contact until the end of our stay. Stunning views of sunrise and sunset right above the cliffs, usage of the pool and jacuzzi at any time. The room is equipped with a microwave, a little fridge and a coffee machine. You don‘t hear much more than the surf and the animals. The Wild Blue Water is definitely a recommendation and worth a visit!

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

The host is super gentle and kind. She offered us many facilities and good advices for restaurants and sights.

Orchid Tree B&B se găsește în Hilo și are cazare cu WiFi gratuit, o piscină, o grădină, o terasă și vedere la piscină. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Orchid tree is exceptionally beautiful, totally solar powered with a beautiful pool, hot tub and landscaping, a large lanai for relaxing and the room is truly large with lounge able furniture , pristine clean. Many places we’ve stayed give you pictures that don’t really represent the place when you arrive. However orchid tree is wonderful as are the hosts, both friendly and responsive ! Breakfast was just fine with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and a good selection of Juices , breads, cream cheese, etc as well as freshly ground coffee. (Plenty for us but if you are an egg type there’s always places in town). But the lanai, the waves crashing, the superb coffee, we didn’t need more!
