We had a wonderful stay at The Houghton Hotel during our trip to South Africa. The hotel is incredibly modern and stylish, with very spacious rooms. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long flight. One of the highlights was the breakfast, very tasty and lots of options. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were especially grateful that they accommodated a very early check-in so we could rest right away. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hotel’s amenities, we did take a look around and everything—from the pool area to the wellness facilities—looked top-notch and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale base in Johannesburg.

The hosts were extremely attentive to our needs and we loved the location and the settings. It is an amazing facility, offering privacy and excellent service. Everything is very nicely decorated and you have everything you may need for the stay. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Estuvimos sólo una noche para tomar un vuelo temprano al día siguiente. El lugar es espectacular, tiene una vista hermosa al lago, la ubicación es muy buena y el alojamiento es perfecto. No servía el AC de nuestra habitación y nos cambiaron a una suite superior increíble! La comida es espectacular, cenamos ahí y desayunamos al día siguiente, en verdad, felicitamos al chef porque se esmeró en nuestros alimentos. Fueron muy amables todos porque nos permitieron dejar mis maletas antes de nuestra llegada, muchas gracias a Lungile por todas sus atenciones. En vez de un hotel cercano al aeropuerto, vale mucho más la pena este lugar, excelente ubicación, increíble atención de todo su personal y comida de primer nivel.

The staff was very helpful, I got lost but their assistance made so much of a difference . They really made my birthday extra special so I really appreciate their efforts . The kitchen facilities had everything we needed & the chalet was very clean . A big 10/10 from me. The jacuzzi & braai area enabled us to bond nicely cos there is enough privacy for each chalet

El Forum Homini Hotel Boutique se encuentra en una zona residencial de vida silvestre, a solo 13 km fuera de Muldersdrift. Ofrece alojamiento de estilo cueva de lujo y un restaurante de alta cocina. I loved the peace and quiet that the hotel managed to offer. While finer-dining is not really my forte, it was truly excellent as an exploration of flavours and textures. The facilities were clean and wonderful, the staff made it absolutely magical.

An absolute Gem ! - cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful guest house/spa/ hotel. I fly into Johannesburg about 4 times a year and have stayed at most of the “airport hotels” wait up to 45 min for the bus transfer- get in a long queue to checkin.. lack of any interest by staff, ordinary service, food etc.. booked at the Witwater for the first time. Jerry a terrific young man from the guest house met me at the gate - name on a big board. E class Mercedes to the hotel - I check in and in the room 15 min after exiting customs . Room twice as big. Bathroom 3 times bigger than a hotel. Super nice. Great restaurant, amazing grounds, quiet ( some aircraft noise but not bad and definitely not a problem), Welcoming manager and staff. Excellent property.
