What a fantastic, iconic structure.
What a fantastic, iconic structure. Did a tour which was very informative and took us all over the building. Despite all the controversy in its build, we are so fortunate to have such a wonderful piece of architecture in our country. It certainly makes the harbour! I am not a building tour person and I LOVED the tour of the Sydney Opera House (They offer plays, concerts, etc. and told us they named it the Sydney Opera House because Sydney Community Center did not sound as good! So they have a sense of humor!) They showed us how the lights and sound system acooustics complement each other. The designers were SMART and CLEVER to deliver beauty and function together. It was a 6-minute walk for the groom and our kids/grooms men . I love how it was close to shops and restaurants. Milson Point ferry is also a 10-15 minute walk with a stunning view of Sydney Opera house, and Bridge. The home was beautiful and clean. The staff were super friendly and attentive and I hope they get to continue in their hospitality roles after yhe hotel closes otherwise they wil be a loss to the service industry .
