What a fantastic experience we had with our 5-night stay!! This is our first stay at a Hard Rock hotel and we are very impressed. The location is excellent....right in the city centre. You can walk to the main shopping streets (5-10min walk) and other tourist attractions like Dublin Castle etc. There are MANY bars and restaurants within 2-min walk from the hotel. Our check-in was excellent. Special thanks to Stephanne for a very friendly welcome. What we loved the most was that we could get an electric or acoustic guitar or a turn-table delivered to our room (and change them as we pleased) during the entire stay. Rooms were very comfortable too. I would strongly recommend staying here when in Dublin

Lovely visit and really excellent staff and our guide.

Lovely visit and really excellent staff and our guide. It is really good if you'd like to get an insight into the Easter rising of 1916 and subsequent events. Probably best to access by taxi unless you don't mind a bit of a walk. Afterwards you can travel to Belfast and do a black taxi tour and visit the Maddens pub. Also, don't forget to visit Derry!

The visit was extremely interesting, thanks to our guide, Robie. Hé was very knowledge able with a sharp sense of humour and a very human approach of the tragic story of the place. This visit is a must if you want to understand Ireland’s history. Visits must ve booked in advance via their website.

Emotional, gut-wrenching.

Emotional, gut-wrenching. Our guide Daniel was amazing (and patient with a couple of young ones on the tour). He made the tour! Talking to Daniel he has a master's degree in history. His passion was palatable. It made me proud to be Irish. I found myself teary at times, especially near the end of the tour. Make sure you go on the earlier side so you can browse the museum afterwards. Tickets are hard to come by, so you can purchase them up to 28-days in advance. Don't give up! I was stalking on the 28-day window, and they were all sold out. Check closer to when you are planning to visit, as that's what I did, and a number of tickets became available.

The visit was made to pay my respects to the men and women who gave so much for their country. Not a criticism, just a suggestion, but the cafe area nearer to the entrance / exit at ground level may help generate revenue and l am sure, literature, handbooks or booklets would sell well also. However, doing a great job and Irish tourism should do more to promote this aspect of its heritage. Good luck in the future
