Fantastic facilities, great breakfast. My kids loved it! Among the many hotels we stayed at, at this one all the hotel staff were very fluent in English.

Where to start! This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They helped to receive luggge and packages, and helped us send our luggages to the following hotel. The rooms were more spacious than the usual modern hotels in Japan, and decorated immaculately. The continuous flow of baked goods, drinks at the cozy lobby made me feel like having a big living room where I could spend hours to chill after a long day of walking. We also made use of their free bike rental. It is a such great concept! I also used the laundry on the ground floor. Definitely considering staying here next time I'm in Kyoto!

Amazing rooms for the price. The staff was super nice (a bit strict on simple things like I got a remark after taking a bottle of water to the table in the lounge but still in a very polite way). They offer you vouchers for complimentary little afternoon tea in the afternoon and amuse bouche in the evening. This was super lovely.

Hotel Okura's elegant rooms boast spectacular views of Kyoto against the backdrop of the Higashiyama Mountains.

Overall, the Ace Hotel was an amazing place to stay. The staff was mindful and very helpful, our room was confortable and the location was central. One of our highlight was the turntable with a selection of vinyls that set the mood nicely in our room. Plus, once they noticed it was my birthday, they made sure it was celebrated.
