We stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!

What a gorgeous place to stay. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help us. We were eating in the dining area and it started to rain, one of the staff bought us over umbrellas so we didn’t get wet. Super thoughtful. The grounds were immaculate and the whole atmosphere of the place was so relaxing.

Hiresha and Sudeera made our stay at the property a delight, looking after our every need. Transportation, food, recommendations, everything. The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

The place was very confortable. The host is very kind and helpful. He owns a nice little restaurant and another house just next, so very quiet almost no other neighbours. Very good breakfast, copious and varied. Fews minutes walk from the beach, many shops and restaurants around. The best plus is that it is located on the jungle edge of the village and by the river, so we had iguanas, varans, birds and plenty of monkeys passing so close to us!! Wonderful!! The best rate quality/price of our travel so far, highly recommanded!

Best breakfast we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka! Lovely Cabanas & super kind owner and team :) Also the dog Roxy is so cute! Walking to the beach takes a while but with a TukTuk it’s only 5 min and costs 1.00-1.50 Euro 😊 Would definitely come back 😊

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a fresh coconut, which was such a lovely gesture. The place is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. The hosts are extremely accommodating and make the stay as pleasant as possible. They are genuinely kind and warm-hearted people. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect and memorable stay. We will come back!

Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

A lovely place to stay. Super clean rooms with an incredible fan (I hardly even needed the AC the fan was that good!). Lovely garden to sit in to have the delicious and filling breakfast that they make (changes each day! - banana pancakes, omelette, Sri Lankan string hoppers and curry - always served with fruit). Across the road/down a lane way from a beach you can swim at, walking distance to lazy right and a few mins tuk tuk to popular surf spots (Marshmelows, lazy left and Kabalana). The owners are so kind. I came in very late from my flight and they were up waiting. I organised a taxi transfer with them which was fairly priced and easy to spot upon arrival. The driver was great. The accomodation like many other in the area is by the train tracks but I would only hear this around 6:30am or later. Thanks for a wonderful stay :)

Beautiful, clean room with a lovely balcony. Location is great, very central, only a 3 minute walk to the main beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. AC was great and lovely bathroom with a great shower. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and helpful.
