Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. Great location, very close to restaurants and services, excellent staff and very private in each suite. Very well thought out. I especially enjoyed the perfect view from the balcony!

It is magical here and I hope I have that chance to visit again. My only regret is not staying longer. I had the breakfast one morning, which was lovely. The facilities are minimal. This is easily managed if planned for. There is no fridge in the little pod I stayed in, but there is a microwave. The microwave was enough for me to have a couple small meals. People have mentioned more counter space would be nice. I found it good enough. I had my things organized under the bed. Having the travel packing pods was useful. It is remote, and I suggest bringing in your own drinking water. I didn't get sick or anything, but as a precaution, that is my advice. There are lovely outdoor seating areas. I traveled with a small collapsible chair. It was great for this location, as well as when I visited beaches in other parts of the country. There are great knock off versions of the helinox chairs. If you bring one for your trip you won't regret it. This place is very special, and I offer these little tips so that you can enjoy this accommodation as much as I have. I cannot express enough how beautiful and magical the location is with the surrounding jungle covered mountains. For context. I am a solo female traveler. I felt very safe in this remote location. I had a suv rental from Adobe (very excellent car rental). I didn't need the 4wd, but had it been raining, then I likely would have used it a bit. Definitely need the high clearance on the vehicle. There was only 1 spot that required the clearance when i visited. I used the downhill assist when driving into the valley. That was very useful, and easier on the brakes. Driving back from Santa Elena in the dark was fine for me. Thank you to the hosts for having such beautiful and unique accommodations.

I would definitely stay there again. Everything was clean and in great condition. Beautiful view from on high of the ocean. The workout equipment was nice too since we had a lot of rain while we were there.

Mike and his family were very kind with us ! Little escape is the perfect place for couple with young baby ! Recommend it 👌

Terletak 12km dari Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Cabinas Costa Tropicana menawarkan kolam renang luaran, taman dan penginapan yang berhawa-dingin dengan teres dan WiFi percuma. Beautiful setting - feels like you’re in the rainforest. We saw monkeys and toucans and loads of different birds feeding on the palm fruits. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch them! The hosts were also very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp, and the wood cabin was well catered and lovely

This is like luxury camping, where the place is a mix between a tent and an apartment. We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.

Menawarkan taman, teres, dan restoran, Private jungle “Loft del Rio” river access mempunyai penginapan di Uvita dengan WiFi percuma dan pemandangan gunung. This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

This property was gorgeous in and amongst the cloud forest of Monteverde. The balcony was amazing and lovely to sit and watch the wildlife. It was clean and tidy and very cosy at night. The bed was comfortable, and the panoramic views of the forest through the windows made for a great view for your morning coffee. The location was great a short walk into town but a bit of a steep walk but up however only a $5 taxi ride! The staff were incredibly friendly - Edwin welcomed us, showed us around and even booked us on zip lining tours and night tours ! I would highly recommend!
