The place is absolutely stunning, situated on top of a mountain and perched on a hilltop. The cabin is really clean, super spacious, and filled with traditional Japanese elements and furniture. The best part of it all is the host; he's incredibly kind and friendly, especially if you can speak Japanese. He's such a nice guy, going the extra mile by picking me up from the station, driving me to the Nachisan trail, and seeing me off. I wasn't sure if I should have offered him some payment for all the driving he did, and I felt a bit guilty for not asking. I'm really enjoyed my time here and I'm excited of coming back again, definitely a solid 10/10 experience.

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park terletak di daerah Nara Park bagi Nara, 3.3km dari Stesen Nara dan 20km dari Iwafune Shrine. WiFi percuma tersedia di seluruh tempat penginapan. Location could not have been any better: being inside the park, especially at night when the buz of the day is gone, with the stunning temples and shrines around, softly lit at night, was one of the best experiences ever. As for the room itself: sparkling clean, washing machine included (good for us motorbikers), spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely return any time.

Taraichitei, tempat penginapan dengan taman, terletak di Takashima, 28km dari Keramat Kehi Jingu, 34km dari Omimaiko Beach, dan juga 40km dari Stesen Obama. It is an old style house, so as long as you aren't expecting Western/modern comforts, it's fantastic! My daughter called it the Totoro house. You will sleep on Japanese futons that you lay out on the tatami mats - if you've never slept on a futon it might feel uncomfortable/hard compared to Western beds. You will eat sitting on the tatami mats, but there are a couple of small Western chairs if sitting on the floor is difficut. The bathroom is Japanese style with the toilet in one section, the sink/vanity in a second section and the shower with separate furo (deep bathtub for soaking after washing in the shower) in the third section. It was not the most modern but all clean and more spacious than the Western hotel bathrooms we had other parts of Japan! There is a TV, wifi worked great and a bluetooth speaker to play music. There aren't a lot of "tourist" attractions nearby but it you want serenity this hits the spot - a few steps away has you walking among farming fields and the house is also close to the forest with a little stream running along side the road making for a peaceful but easy walk up the mountain. The gohan (rice) cooked in the old style stove was the best we ate our entire trip! Wish we had bought some of the local rice. It can get a little smoky when dinner is being cooked but my mild asthma was fine. The host, Hiro, is amazing, super accomodating and friendly, he introduced us to his shiba inu (dog) and his duck, and even though we didn't ask ahead, he prepped for us to make tofu - this experience was an extra fee but totally worth it! During the winter you can also request mochitsuki (pounding rice into mochi) and summer/fall you can make noodles (can't remember if he said soba, ramen or udon). Hiro's English is limited, but he's so engaging, we asked him to eat dinner with us and my daughter loved that...he has such good energy!

Terletak di Hashimoto, Yadori Onsen Iyashinoyu mempunyai WiFi percuma, dan tetamu boleh menikmati lounge berkongsi, teres dan restoran. The Onsen! It had private hours for inn guests. I also appreciated the clean, modern cabin. Yusuke and the whole staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, even offering a shuttle to and from Koyasan twice per day. Beautiful valley. there is a bridge that allows you to get down to the rivers edge to enjoy the water.

Terletak 3.3km dari Shionomisaki Shrine, Fukurou mempunyai penginapan dengan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. I really enjoyed the private access Onsen, available to sign up once a day. Perfect after biking around Kushimoto all day—I rented one of their electric assist bikes which made going up and down the local hills easier. Complete with helmet and cell phone holder. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Located in Shima in the Mie Region, 5 km from Shima Spain Village, Fiore Shima boasts a seasonal outdoor pool, barbecue and terrace. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable with great amenities. We took our dog and there were bowls and bedding provided. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The pool area is great with lots of seating and is open from 8am-8pm so you can enjoy morning and evening swims. We have stayed twice now and I would definitely recommend it.

Clean, very comfortable, has everything you need and right in center of town. They even give you free vouchers to the two onsens and provide everything you need for it including towels, yukata, shoes, shampoo.
