Phum Khmer Lodge - Village Cambodian Eco-Lodge offre la vista sulla piscina a Siem Reap e dispone di ristorante, servizio in camera, bar, giardino, piscina scoperta aperta tutto l'anno e terrazza. L'hotel ha molto fascino! Il nostro bungalow affacciato sulla piscina era semplicemente strepitoso!!! Si respira un'atmosfera coloniale, tutto molto curato nei minimi dettagli e il personale era sempre disponibile e gentilissimo. Un resort piccolo e quindi non caotico, anzi spesso eravamo da soli sia in piscina che a colazione, sembrava di avere per noi tutto il resort. Altra chicca era un tuk tuk gratuito ogni giorno per andare in centro! Al rientro da ogni escursione ci aspettavano con fazzoletto freddo e succo di frutta. Al Bar in piscina si poteva bere la SanPellegrino che per me è un plus incredibile all'estero. Il pomeriggio in piscina si poteva ordinare qualsiasi cosa da mangiare e bere, veramente un lusso.

I chose this accommodation because of the traditional wooden buildings. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, having a verandah overlooking the pool was lovely and the downstairs area was good to escape the heat. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. We were sick at the time of staying at this lodge and the staff were so caring and helpful. They checked on us regularly, brought us ginger tea, and made sure we had food. If we hadn't lived in Cambodia previously and weren't as comfortable with the language and getting around, I am sure they would have done more for us. The staff are the kindest and most caring Cambodians you will meet and the accommodation is very good value for what you get. Because of the location it feels less touristy. Initially, I thought itvwas too far away from the centre but it's really only a short tuk tuk ride or a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of places to eat and visit over that side of the river.

Phyla and his family were very welcoming! He drove me to the airport at the end of my stay. Very convenient. There is a kitchen in the yard where you can cook. The location is not far from the centre by Tuktuk or there is a secure place for motorcycles. Recommended!
