Incredible coastal location just outside Mirissa - with it being super easy to get transport in. The team and especially Roshan the chef are great at making sure you are welcome and look after you. The breakfast options and dinner next to the crashing waves on the beach was definitely a highlight from my Sri Lanka trip.

Beautiful place run by the family - former tea plantation which is now becoming a jungle again. The panoramic view from the room was amazing - makes you feel like you are sleeping in the forest and you can spot a lot of wildlife from the bed. Waterfall with natural pools is within the resort. Very good food with massive portions. The trip to the forest was also great - the entrance to reserve is just 2 km away. Everything perfect and worth its price.

Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

This place is like a dream. You sit on your own balcony surrounded by views of rain forest, mountain tops, birds in all colours. The extremely friendly host family prepares tasty sri lankan food, offer you fruits from their own garden - they have ALL sorts of interesting fruits depending on season. They show you around their tea plantage and all in all just makes you feel good. The cabana (cottage) has all basics and is very clean. This is not luxury, but I personally didn't miss anything. My best recommendations!

The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.

Mirissa Eco Hills se află în Mirissa, la 2 km de Plaja din Weligama, și include vedere la grădină, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. My stay at Mirissa Eco Hills was exactly what I needed! Located in a tranquil sanctuary of lush green foliage, I loved falling asleep to the sounds of nature outside. I arrived to a nearby bus stop and got a tuk tuk for the short journey to the accommodation. The owner Suronge is a delightful, accommodating and thoughtful host. He showed me where to walk to reach Mirissa, which ended up being a beautiful walk through the Sri Lankan countryside, a highlight of my stay in Sri Lanka so far. It’s not far, 20 mins walk. He recommended a restaurant to get the best and cheap Roti in Mirissa. In the evening Suronge even offered to pick me up some food or drink from the town as he thought I hadn’t eaten all day. Breakfast the next day was brought to my room at a time that suited me! I had delicious veggie roti, coconut pancakes, a banana and a pot of tea. There was a lot of love and care poured into the breakfast and it tasted delicious. Suronge was so kind, accommodated my check out time and ordered me a tuk tuk for when I needed it. The spacious room had a big four poster bed and a balcony that looked out to rice paddies. I enjoyed watching life pass by from up on the balcony. The bathroom had plenty of hot water too. My only wish is that I had more nights to stay here. Don’t hesitate, book this for your tranquil country side get away immediately. You won’t regret it! The value for money is incredible.
