We stayed with a 1 yo baby, who enjoyed the garden and the pool. A comfortable crib was also provided. A great breakfast was freshly made every morning. It’s a bit distant from the city, so make sure you have a car. Overall, highly recommended, will do again.

Shanti is a little haven of perfect tranquility and only a few meters from the beach. Our room was spacious, clean with thoughtful decor and accessories including some interesting books. I loved the individual paintings both inside and out. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We arrived extremely early without warning and were offered breakfast immediately which was above and beyond but extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. They had our room ready for us within a few minutes so that we could enjoy our day around the pool. Mr Luis welcome was terrific and it was lovely to meet Manni the owner and share some of his abounding energy. We would highly recommend staying at Shanti and will certainly rebook next time we are back in El Paredon.

Juan and his wife were amazing people they feed us with the traditional tamal on Xmas we were berry thankful and happy we will go back to their home again thank you

Casa Austera is like living in The Blue Lagoon, I used to dream of it as a kid. It is the beach house of my dreams. I loved the open air hut and the personal fan made sure I didn't get hot. The showers were cool and refreshing after a long day surfing in the sun. The staff were the absolute nicest ever. I asked my daughter if she'd have rather stayed at the big million dollar property in the beach front and she said "no way, the vibe and staff at Casa Austera is the best in Guatemala"

This is truly a little slice of paradise. It's tiny, only a few cabins and when we were there we were the only guests for most of the time. The property and cabins are clean and well maintained. They offer a la carte dinners and activities at very good prices. Marta and family are truly delightful to be around and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I really hope we get the chance to come back and visit again.

Terletak di Placencia, Caribbean Beach Cabanas adalah Tempat Penginapan Tetamu Dewasa Sahaja, menawarkan kawasan pantai peribadi dan basikal percuma. This was our first "luxury" stay we've ever had, and we loved it. The room was very clean and set up nicely for us upon arrival. When we first got there, we were offered a drink and they got us checked in quickly then showed us to our room. They gave a brief overview of the room and everything available. During our stay, it was our nice little retreat when we got overwhelmed/tired from exploring, which we did a lot. The bartender was awesome and nice to chat with. The rest of the staff was fantastic as well. Not once did we feel like we weren't welcome there. Hopefully we can be back some day.
