Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is located 20 km north of Windhoek. Surrounded by African savannah in a growing suburb of the capital, the lodge offers a garden, outdoor pool and restaurant. A very nice lodge. The room was spacious, with a nice outside seating area. There were mosquito nets available, and food was incredible.

The manager drove us to the neighboring lodge for dinner and picked us up without charging. We scheduled an early ride to the airport with him and he was on time and his car was very comfortable. Namibia is pretty expensive and this place was pretty affordable which was very appreciated.

This is a beautiful property outside of Windhoek and a great place to stay if being in the city doesn’t capture your interest. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are wonderful, and the chalets are really beautiful, with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, a spacious shower, and a cool vibe. There are two hikes you can do affording you the chance to see some animals if you are lucky - I saw some giraffe and a herd of wildebeest. Animals can be found on the property too, particularly at night.
