Offering mountain views, Pukaki Air Lodge in Twizel offers accommodation, barbecue facilities, a terrace and a shared lounge. Complimentary WiFi is available. The lodge is easy to locate and quiet, the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with wide open views. There was a warm welcome from Mary. The do_it_yourself breakfast spread was great with cooking facilities if you want to make an evening meal, too.

This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

We loved the star gazing - well educated, super comfy and we saw galaxies with our plain eye.
