Bernie and Marie were absolutely delightful hosts and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The property is conveniently located near to the various activities in the area, which made travelling to and from a breeze! Breakfast was also amazing, and with sheep and alpaca at the property as well, I can’t recommend this stay more!

I loved Sandy's service by giving us all the info about the mountain and how to be prepared with passes and mapping it out for us to make sure we get the best experience which I appreciated soo much! The place itself was soo clean and felt like home. Beautiful lounge area and clean kitchen and nice open outdoor area to enjoy food with the best view in the area! Highly recommend and I'll definitely be staying here on my next trip :)

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Staff very welcoming, Grady start to stay here. Kitchen is clean, excellent ovens and cook tops (gas), wide variety of utensils.

The friendly greeting from Rhys on arrival made this a much more personal stay than most places I've stayed with work and is very convenient near Ohakea.

Mary is amazing! She was very helpful and the room was perfect for us. The beds were super comfortable. The amenities were really great and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The location is key, close to a market and a pick up and drop off for tours in National Park. Definitely will return!
