The grounds were spectacular. The beds perfect. The designs of the rooms and bathrooms were detailed and great. Loved the artwork outside of each room with matching key. The homemade food was wonderful and the coffee /pressed was the best I had. The owners are fantastic. Loved the fire and the stars from the spa.

Great opportunities to walk in the immediate neighborhood and to explore the gold-mining past of the region. The hosts, Max and Shelly were terrific and we had great conversations -- this helped us to better understand the "kiwi-ness" ... thx for that Max and Shelly !!!

Con vista sul giardino, Cone Hill Farmstay - with bush and river walks - 80 sqm self contained propone un alloggio dotato di terrazza e patio, a circa 30 km da Hamilton Gardens. The bed and daybed were very comfortable. Loved the added touch of a continental breakfast being supplied. We chose this place for the scenery because there was a walk on the doorstep, it didn't disappoint. The walk by the river and through the trees is lovely it's about a 2k round trip. You can cool off in the river. We found 2 really clear shallow spots. Mary is a lovely host, and we actually could have spent the day chatting to her. We will definitely be back.
