The host is absolutely lovely. Wonderful dinner and breakfast served. Suggested nearby attraction points. There is a cool outdoor terrace where one can enjoy the sounds of the birds singing. The room was spacious, with comfy beds and very clean. We will happily return.

I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

Fantastic location and exceptional host. Great attention to detail in the design of the house, rooms and amenities. Impressive woodwork ! Located on the main road to Sarmizegetusa Regia, about 30 min away, in a valley by the river bank, with pristine forest all around.

Far beyond what we where expecting. Very nice people, excellent view, we had an awesome weekend here. We are going to come back in the winter.

Very nice combination between maintaining the traditional features of the old house and adding on top all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The owners, Oana and Vlad are welcoming people, doing everything with passion and dedication. I enjoyed spending time with them and exploring the property and the village. Great find and would love to come back doar a longer stay.

The house is beautiful and cosy, the kitchen is fully equipped. Everything was super clean, we found everything we needed, towels, soap, shampoo and stuff for cooking, oil, spices, tea, coffee.
