Breakfasts and dinners were very tasty, and the staff was always polite and helpful — they took care of every request we had. The location is perfect, right by the sea with a clean and beautiful ocean view. The security team is always present, making sure no beach sellers disturb the guests. Overall, it’s a peaceful and comfortable place to relax and enjoy Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

Truly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful and welcoming staff. Comfortable beds, delicious food, very clean with everything you need to enjoy what is truly a slice of heaven.

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I have been to many accommodations in Zanzibar, but this one was truly the most special experience for me. The peace and positive vibes I experienced there brought back 5 years of my life. The house is in a wonderful location, surrounded by dense vegetation, so you will feel a healing peace there during your entire stay. The bungalows are spacious and perfectly clean, the beds are large and comfortable, the view is stunning. The food deserves a Michelin star, the offer is varied, the ingredients are fresh every day, the portions are very generous, certainly above the price. The owner and all the staff are very accommodating, kind and ready to dedicate themselves to each guest to make them feel at home. My special thanks go to the hostess Suzy , whose helpfulness and kindness go beyond the limit and who made our stay even more beautiful. If you are planning to visit Zanzibar, do not make the mistake of not visiting this special piece of paradise. Thank you all, even though we left, a piece of my heart remained there 💓

I liked that the place is very come and not noisy, can only hear the beach in a very relaxing way as well their dog jumbo is such a very lovely puppy around nice people
