The amount of game was brilliant and to get so close to the buffalo was awesome. We arrived late in the evening and the reception we received from Stienie, was second to none. They made sure we had a meal ready for us after a day's travelling. We met one of the owners who insisted we go on the game drive before we left the next day. The accommodation itself was great and the beds were comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. We will most definitely come back.

Situated in the foothills of the Drakenberg Escarpment, Wild Horses Lodge features a tranquil garden with an outdoor pool overlooking the Sterkfontein Dam. Very nice overall. Food was really outstanding and a differentiating factor of the hotel.
