We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. We felt like it was our real home for a few days. Magdalena as a host is very accommodating too. We super love the whole place and ambience outside. Would definitely come back!

Ideally located in a more peaceful location of the town, friendly, helpful and extremely responsive staff. Very clean and tidy. Not very far from the train station and a 100m away from the bus station. We had a very pleasant stay !! An amazing view of fairy tale Grindelwald!

Location. It is great. I visited in beginning of October and it was easy to get there by public transport during that time (it might be different when snow covers the mountain pass). Tickets for some of the local cable cars were included and for some other ones I got a discount (I've used free cable cars only as I've stayed for one day and there was only that much I could visit). I would really encourage to walk around the lake that is down from the hotel as it is beautiful and the view from the dam is also great! Breakfast was very nice as well. One thing to keep in mind - hotel is high up (1900-2000 meters) and if you are not used to mountain hotels, you might have worse sleep quality, not because of the beds or something, but because air is thinner up there and your body need to adjust to that.

Bus stop was just ouside our apartment and it was free bus rides around Grindelwald. Collection of keys from the hotel was easy as free shuttle service from the train station was provided for. That really solved a headache for us both ways. Apartment was very well equipped and loved the views!! Very clean and comfortable too.

Amazing staff, always ready to help and keep smiling. Would love to go back again, just because of rhe place, the hotel and the staff!! The breakfast was in general good, but I usually get bored of eating the same stuff everyday. So a bit of variety to add will be a bonus.
