The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The location was nice with great views, the pool was mesmerizing, the staff were very nice, everything was clean! We had a taxi driver provided by the hotel drive ua around the different locations and attractions, for a very reasonable price, and he was very kind and knowledgeable!

Breakfast was good but I’d recommend you make it more fun It was our best stay in sri lanka so far, staffs were so good and the manager is a decent man We loved the waterfall activity arranged by hotel, Will definitely come again if ever visited Kandy thank you for making our vacation extra special

Close to town but on a beautiful quiet road with incredible views! Very spacious rooms and very clean! Had the most amazing hosts that helped us with anything we needed and showed us around town! They cooked us incredible meals and welcomed us into their amazing home! Can’t wait to come back and stay again! This is a really special place to stay!

A jewel of a hotel. A magnificent waluwaa which has been lovingly restored and decorated. The art collection is mesmerising especially for anyone with an interest in Sri Lankan art and history. David has done a superb job and we only wished we had stayed longer. The meals on the vernada were superb quality and portion sizes were just right. We enjoyed a walk around the estate grounds. Highly recommended and would lend itself to a longer stay as a well located base and so much nicer than being in Kandy or a large impersonal hotel.

Simpson's Forest - Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa - Kandy mempunyai basikal percuma, kolam renang luaran, pusat kecergasan dan taman di Kandy. It was a perfect couple of days after a busy week of travel. The staff were lovely we loved the nature walks and trip to the natural pool with Isuru ( the naturalist ) and the amazing infinity pool sits high above the resort with the most stunning views. From start to finish it was just wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner and both were really good and lots of choices, service was attentive. The room was super comfortable air-con efficient, well stocked mini bar, iron hair, dryer kettle all just perfect. Beds and pillows comfy. There are trips out but we were just happy to be at the resort.
