We should have booked it for longer. The apartment more than met our expectations, comfy beds, well appointed right throughout the property, great bathrooms and showers, outdoor sitting areas on both floors. Great parking, either outside the building or in the underground parking lot. Communication with our hosts was great, as we were checking in late afternoon on a Saturday, so Whatsapp was great for agreeing on the lockbox access, and they did us a video which made everything so easy to understand. Eloize and Gina are the best of the best.

A Riverbed Guesthouse in Swellendam has 4-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The property is set less than 1 km from top restaurants, shops and Drostdy Museum. It’s a very beautiful complex, the layout of the rooms, the lovely little patio area overlooking the pool. Very comfortable bed ( most important ) Great shower in bathroom, very spacious.

The location is incredible. The accommodation itself was very welcoming and they did everything to make us feel special and to make sure our stay would be extraordinary. Located in a safe, guarded area. There were zebra’s! I’m sure you could also see some whales if you are lucky. You could also take a walk on the beach, which is so beautiful.
