Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes... Every single aspect of the experience was remarkable. The staff was amazing! They would always go the extra mile to ensure everything we needed was properly taken care of. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated with quality elements paying attention to every detail. The quality and variety of the breakfast options were to the highest standards (buffet for cold dishes and a la carte for hot dishes). The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to avoid having to use the car, everything is within walking distance. On top of everything, the views from the hotel to the ocean and coastline are just spectacular! We'll definitely visit again!

The room had beautiful views of the sea. It is within walking distance of nice restaurants. The place is both modern and welcoming. The staff is amazing and the hosts made us feel like family. Breakfast was delicious and we were able to eat it outside while the waves crashed against the rocks nearby.

Beautiful two-story room, very spacious and with all the amenities. There were five of us and we were not cramped. On arrival we were met and shown everything. All the staff was friendly and responsive every day: at the end of our stay our cab was unexpectedly canceled and we were helped to call a cab through the hotel, although this was clearly not the responsibility of the receptionist. Thank you to her for this. Very pleased with the location of the room: near two supermarkets, a lot of cafes and literally 2 minutes walk - a beautiful promenade. Convenient. We will definitely come back to Hermanus and stay next time not 4 but 5-7 days. I recommend it to everyone: especially since the hotel helped us with a whale watching tour and we saw them literally at arm's length! It was an endless delight for our 3 kids. Moreover, the next day the whales were literally swimming near the waterfront all day long and we could admire them to the fullest. I recommend to all families this room: quiet, spacious, with friendly staff and everything you need to stay even for 1-2 days, or for a week or more.

A Riverbed Guesthouse in Swellendam has 4-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The property is set less than 1 km from top restaurants, shops and Drostdy Museum. It’s a very beautiful complex, the layout of the rooms, the lovely little patio area overlooking the pool. Very comfortable bed ( most important ) Great shower in bathroom, very spacious.

Really nice Villa on the cliffs above a private beach. The staff was really friendly. Rooms were nicely done, beautiful bathrooms with a view. Excellent food and wine. Breakfast was amazing.
