Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The staff was so helpful before and during our stay, including a last minute request for a lift from the Ferry terminal to our hotel. The room was large and comfortable, perfect for our stay. TY

With panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, The Bay Motel overlooks Halfmoon Bay on Stewart Island. It features a nearby golf course, a free shuttle service and free private parking on site. It was a lovely service. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped off our baggage at the ferry station when we returned to Bluff.

Stewart Island's iconic South Sea Hotel is located on the foreshore, in the centre of town. It is 2 minutes’ walk from the ferry and airline terminals. The property is just across the street from the beach in Oban. It has a bar and cafe on premise which I enjoyed.
