The owner made us very welcome and was extremely helpful in booking our water taxis for our walk the next day and advising about where to eat. The chalet was one of the best equipped we have been in and very clean. Great location for getting to Abel Tasman park - right next door to water taxis.

Gladstone Motel is a 5 star property in Richmond. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast on request. Motel is excellent and the hospitality is amazing. People here are amazing and so kind we loved staying here

Located in Richmond, the Queen Street Studios has 2 restaurants. Positioned on the main street, the Queen Street Studios is a 4-minute walk to Richmond Mall where guests can find a variety of shops... Room is clean and tidy. Reception staff is very friendly.

Offering free WiFi and free on-site bus and car parking, Mohua Motels is located in Takaka. All accommodation offers a patio, fully equipped kitchenette and mountain and garden views. The motel manager accommodated well for our late arrival and organized breakfasts for us for our early departure the following morning. The communication was quick and helpful. The motel rooms are spotless, clean, and well taken care of. Our stay was a pleasant surprise.

Just a 10-minute walk from Kaiteriteri Beach, Kimi Ora Eco Resort offers rooms with a balcony and sea views. Our apartment is huge and clean. Our deck overlooks the rainforest and Kaiteriteri Beach. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are helpful and friendly. Jane was especially helpful recommending boat tours and wineries.

Offering modern accommodation and situated less than a 20-minute walk from Richmond Mall and nearby vineyards, Parkside Motel also offers a courtyard and a seasonal heated swimming pool. The hosts ( owner / manager) were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The grounds looked very inviting as did the poor but we didn’t swim due to the poor weather. We will recommend this Motel to anyone visiting Nelson/ Richmond area.5 stars!

Featuring barbecue facilities, Anatoki Lodge Motel is set in Takaka, 18 km from Golden Bay. Each accommodation at the motel has garden views and free WiFi. We loved our room here. We did have the two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and comfortable. It’s such a sweet touch that they offer you milk for your morning coffee in a little jug. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town in a couple minutes. The town is awesome. Several wonderful coffee shops with delicious food and lots of hippie vibes stores.

Convenient location to explore the Wharariki Beach. We visited the beach in the late afternoon and just in time to arrive at the motel before sunset. Clean and comfortable A general store is nearby
