The bar has excellent cocktails and wine and is so cosy to hang out. It’s such a lovely place to hang out.

Situato a Watkins Glen, a 8 km dal Watkins Glen International, il Lakeside Resort offre sistemazioni con barbecue e un giardino, che comprende 30 ettari di sentieri e piccole cascate. We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

Good place to sleep, with a view of the seneca river and close to the vineyards.The staff is very friendly, and the area is very quiet. It is 20 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park, the best park in this area for me.

The owners were fantastic, very accommodating and helpful. No complaints!

This country resort serves as a great place to stay to experience the area of the Salmon River. The newly updated room was very clean with super comfy bed. Self serve breakfast is a real plus. The owners are caring and attentive. The fire pit and outdoor grill to use made this basic but very wonderful spot a great place to feel like home whether you are fishing or hiking in area or doing quad riding. I hope to return.
