After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

Hagi No Yado Tomoe se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Hagi Onsen-kyo din Hagi, la 12 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Kikugahama, la 1,8 km de Shokasonjuku Academy și la 1,8 km de Shoin... This is a gorgeous inn. So serene and beautiful. Very nicely built with beautiful gardens visible from hallways and rooms. Staff was super friendly and the kaiseki dinner was fantastic. Really loved this place and could see why it has been in business for 100 years.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. We stayed in the older part of the ryokan and it was spectacular. The rooms have beautiful views and the onsen is heavenly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our meals were delicious and perfectly presented. We had a very romantic stay and enjoyed being on the island at night. Do yourself a favour and wear the yukata - it's the most comfortable clothing I've ever worn. We would love to come back!

SOIL Nagatoyumoto se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Nagato-Yumoto Onsen din Nagato, la 37 km de Kuruson-zan Shuzen-ji Temple, la 41 km de Doigahama Site Anthropological Museum și la 41 km... At arrival we were offered a possibility to upgrade our room for a reasonable fee to a bigger one, the king suite, which we accepted. And I have to admit, it was the most beautiful hotel room we have ever stayed in. Spacious and decorated with a lot of taste, every lamp and every detail are perfectly matching this place and creating an amazing atmosphere. Lots of space, big windows with beautiful views to the river below. The room needs no TV, because with the river during the day and a distant thunderstorm at night, the nature gives already the best show. There is a sauna on the top floor, also very beautiful and with a great view. Moreover, the onsen next door accepts people with tattoos (how refreshing!) and the river and surroundings are perfect for a relaxing walk. We really hope to go back someday and enjoy this magical place again.

The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.
