This was such an unforgettable experience. We were supposed to stay for just one night but ended up staying 4! Okay, from the beginning. We had different accommodation in Hakuba, but we weren’t satisfied so we were looking for something else and found Dark Horse by chance. The moment we walked into the house, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Andy, Rika, Momo and Hana create something truly special. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and such, but this one will stay in our hearts for a long time. Everything is well thought out, you can see it’s taken care of down to the smallest detail, you can see it’s done properly and not just to be the cheapest. We felt so beautifully hosted. They also have an amazing sake collection to try, and the food is delicious too. Thank you again and we already miss it. I hope we’ll get the chance to meet again. PS. Staffs were super kind and the location was awesome right next to the bus station! Hyobin (staff's name) recommended us local travel spots and provided best service! Love to visit again!

Pure Bliss amazing place and the Italian chef and manager was fantastic, such a great guy!!! Cannot fault the stay, breakfast was SENSATIONAL!!!

Hotel Sejour Mint in Hakuba is a stylish and comfortable accommodation conveniently located within a 5-minute walk or 500 meters from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort. This is the most warm and welcoming place I have ever been. The owner is so kind and a wonderful host. His staff are cheerful, and engaging. It felt like staying at a fond family members home. We loved talking with other guests over the delicious breakfast each morning. You can walk to Goryu Ski lifts and multiple restaurants within minutes. We hope to come back again!

Happokan is only a 3-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Resort, and brings its guests cosy Western and Japanese-style rooms, a hot spring bath and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. We loved it all - the Japanese room, space, amenities, ski storage, onsen, foot massage - but most of all the staff, they were so lovely. For example, when we told them we’d arrive a bit early they got the room ready for us when we arrived, gave us a Xmas present when we left, and were so attentive to make sure we had a perfect stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in Hakuba, you won’t regret it.

Menawarkan akses ski di depan pintu dan pemandangan gunung, Hakuba Glad Inn Ebisuya terletak di Hakuba, 44km dari Stesen Nagano. We loved every bit of our stay. Traditional Japanese tatami rooms with an amazing breakfast and dinner. Minutes walk to the slopes, restaurants, and bars. The family that ran the place was more than helpful in every way from sending our gear with Yamato, making restaurant reservations, and so friendly. Had private onsen for guests only. Had it to myself most of the time. Breakfast and dinner was the best meal we had all 5 days we were there. Everywhere in town, you needed reservations. If you're looking for a traditional stay close to the slopes, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a party or modern beds, this isn't the place for you, but highly recommend immersing yourself in the traditions. Would definitely come back!!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple and clean rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Our second time to stay here, we enjoyed our stay here, great services, great dinner, good location, feel like home ! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back in the near future !

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. Great staff..bent over backwards to be helpful Spa was amazing Rooms fabulous
