This was our fourth trip to Japan and we've stayed in many ryokans. This is one of our favorites. The space we stayed at was huge. It was a two-story stand alone building. The seats looked out onto the courtyard with a pond and a lot of trees, which was very peaceful. I'm usually not the type to stay in my hotel/ryokan all day, but this place tempted me to do so due to the serenity of the courtyard. There were two private onsen that were easy to access due to the small number of guests that stay here. The food was fabulous. While walking around one morning I found a hiking trail that led up to castle ruins. The next morning I hiked up to the ruins and down the other side and came out near the Moss Land.

We chose to stay here to have our last night in Japan to be in the most extraordinary setting and to have access to the Adachi Museum. The room was stunningly beautiful, comfortable and we loved the private onsen. The amenities provided were great too. All of our meals, dinner and breakfast, were a delight to the taste buds as well as visually pleasing.

Terletak 1.7km dari Muzium Memorial Lafcadio Hearn, Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring menawarkan penginapan 4-bintang di Matsue dan mempunyai spa dan pusat kesihatan. It is a very new hotel. Located just 13-15 min walk from the train station, it was easy to reach even with suitcases. We were given a room in Japanese style but with Western beds. Note that sink is located in the room lobby, while toilet and shower are behind the door. Heated toilet seat was a great feature in winter. Onsens on the roof are to die for. 1 indoors, 1 big outdoors and 2 more big tubs with 39'c and 42'c water. Breakfast is a great value for money. Overall this stay was amazing and I really really want to come back again.

It was close to Izumo station. The onsen spa area was wonderful. Extra amenities such as popsicles, yogurt and ramen and free washing machine made our trip easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and also included pajamas and various toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to store luggage before or after checkout!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Onsen Guest House Aobato no Su offers accommodation in Matsue, a few steps from Tamatsukuri Onsen. Free private parking is available on site. Great little onsen ryokan. Very nice lounge and they provide yukatas. Staff was exceptional, there was an elderly man who was manning the counter at night and he does samisen and Japanese folk performances every now and then. Was blessed to have witnessed a short performance by him. Would definitely recommend. Hots springs were excellent. Not too hot and perfect to soak in after a long day. Stayed in the super single room which was basically just a bed and some space. Was perfect as I didn't carry much luggage, but for those who have large trolley bags this is not the room for you.
