The property is one of the best ones I have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. You feel luxurious as soon as you enter in, where the staff welcomes you to light up the oil to feel at home. The hotel has also kept the nature around, building houses around trees and including them in the design. It looks like a town village where you can go around and discover new and beautiful corners at every step. There is even a bathtub facing the lake of Giritale and you can enjoy a bath with an incredible view. The staff is super helpful and the food was delicious! We had buffet dinner there and we enjoyed every plate. The breakfast was also really delicious!

The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

Everything was great. Both cabins are very neat and clean and cozy with charming views on the lake. Dinner and breakfast were delightful. What makes it special is a fact that you can rent bikes and explore Polonnaruwa by yourself (or with the great host). There are many monkeys, birds and cows around. We slept like babies, no mosquitos.

Perfect peaceful getaway! Sunrise Lake in Polonnaruwa is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The view of the lake, especially during sunrise, is breathtaking so calm and peaceful. 🌅 The cabanas are clean and cozy, and the garden around is well kept. The owners are super friendly and treat you like family. Their homemade breakfast was delicious simple, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s a great spot to unwind, watch the birds, and enjoy nature. We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay with my family, and it was an amazing experience. The full area was very calm and we were so relaxed. I was surprised really about your property and how amazing place that it was located. That made my day, honestly. I had visited your city several times and stayed in numerous hotels within your property range, but I could not find another property that gave us with the services you did. The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff were nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything was really clean. The food quality was so good. Some dishes were excellent. The breakfast options were extremely good, and we had, like, enjoyed a lot. I mean, everything was better than we expected in a good way.
