Beautiful location and lovely people. Brilliantly positioned for a safari and right on a gorgeous lake where you can swim. The food cooked by Sapun’s (sorry about the spelling)mother were some of the best Sri Lankan dishes we had over the entire holiday and sitting by the fire pit watching the fireflies after dinner as our two boys caught frogs in the garden was really special. Would highly recommend a stay here - you won’t be disappointed!

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. The accomodation is overseeing the lake of Pollonaruwa and you can tell that a lot of attention has been paid to every detail. The rooms are amazing, spacious and have a lot of facilities (for example there was fridge, sound system, bathrobe, bath slippers and even the toiletries were beyond what we expected). The personnel was very kind and very accommodating. I loved our stay, I wish I could enjoy it more!
