Kurumba Lodge is a wonderful place with an awesome family. From the first welcome drink until the last moment of GoodBye it was an unforgettable lifetime for us. The son Naditha and his parents supported us in nearly every aspect, we could image. Wether it was some technical problems with my camera or an unforgettable safari – in every moment, they were so helpful. The self made food, the drinks, everything tasted very well. The place of the lodge is also very nice. The terrace with a wide view, all the wildlife animals – for us as nature lovers and photographers – perfect. And by the way, the bed, the matress, the AC – we slept like in heaven. The hardest thing was to say goodbye, because it felt already like at home. We felt in love with these wonderful and heart warming people.

We loved our two nights stay at the Ceylon Resort in Wilpattu. Roshan communicated a lot with us before our stay, helping us to organise a driver for pick up from the airport, as well as a full day safari in the national park. He even offered to drive us himself to our next destination, with a few hours stop in Anuradhaphura where he organised a guide and tuktuk to take us around. The room was clean and comfortable and the host and his family are very sweet, making sure all the needs of the guests are met. The food prepared by his wife is very tasty and they were accommodating all of my many food allergies, which I appreciate a lot. We absolutely recommend staying at Ceylon Resort!

Wonderful cabins in the forest very quiet and relaxing cool swim in the river. The staff were very kind and helpful when I had a migraine. They made the food more spicy for my husband. The owner is very helpful and interesting to talk too, they have done a great job of keeping the place part of the jungle. They organised a safari for us which was really nice we didn't see too many other jeeps and even managed to see a leopard.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu hotel. From the moment we arrived (really late in the evening) we were looked after extremely well by Manori and her team - they provided very tasty good value meals and organised a reasonably priced safari for us at short notice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the surroundings very nice. Our children enjoyed seeing the monkeys at breakfast and looking out for other wildlife. We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend - thank you for a lovely stay!

Still under construction but did not affect our stay. Great location as it is only 10 mins to the national park entrance. But it is a fair way from anything else. We had the plunge pool room and it was perfect. Clean, comfy beds and spacious! Staff were helpful.

Wilds Wilpattu was an incredible stay! Suga the hotel manager is lovely and the team were all really attentive. It is situated right by an entrance to Wilpattu National Park and you feel so connected to the nature. There’s only 3 cabins in the property so you have lots of privacy and they feel really spacious and new. The highlight was the firepit and BBQ organised by the hotel team outdoors under the stars!

The owner and her family are such warm people that made us feel truly welcome. The food at the hotel was great! The hotel itself was close to the park, and had a very zen feel. The hotel has only been open for 3 months so everything was brand new. We booked a safari with the hotel and this was great as well, with an amazing breakfast to go. We would recommend it to everyone!

Getting to Ceylon Wilpattu safaris & lodging feels like entering the forest: the road is a bit narrow and bumpy, but when you get to the entrance you discover a very well-kept garden and very pleasant facilities. The warm welcome from Roshan, his wife and the staff was truly pleasant: they supported our requests promptly and kindly. We had dinner at the property, hosted in a cool veranda. The food had been adapted to Western tastes but always maintaining the typical flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine: excellent dinner. Breakfast was also rich and pleasant. The rooms are in bungalows in which rest is ensured by spotty clean and reasonably spacious rooms, immersed in a very quiet and pleasant place. Complimentary water bottles are also available in the fridge in the room. This property is highly recommended.
