We loved everything, a great place to stay. We spend 2 nights here during our honeymoon. We felt very welcome, they had a nice gift for us as newlyweds which we enjoyed. The quality of the food was very nice. We also booked a private hike with a very nice guide. We would love to come back soon!

Beautiful view over Drakensbergen. Location is so quiet and you can see many stars when the sky is clear. Welcome was very warm and we received a lot of information. Good shower. There’s a shared kitchen with braai. Closest restaurant at 10min drive. No shops in the neighbourhood. We did the Gorge trail which was fantastic. Take plenty of water with you during hot days!

Let's be honest this is the place to be if you want to do the Tugela Falls/chain ladders hike as well as other hikes. We stayed in the newer Sentinel rooms and they were very comfortable, roomy with great views. We enjoyed the bar/lounge for a drink before dinner or just to hang out after the hike. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options. We also requested a packed lunch for the hike, which was very welcomed! The staff is very nice and helpful. Note: We would recommend to book a transfer to the start of the chain ladder hike at the Sentinel carpark. Do not attempt to drive there yourself as the road is in extremely bad condition. Worth the cost!

We loved everything. The lodge was so clean and had all the things we needed. The kitchen was very well equiped . The view at the terrace and the balcony was stunning. We also have to admit that the food in the restaurant was DELICIOUS (especially lamb chops and red velvet). We tried some activities like the kart, massage and some of the surroundings hike and everything was nice. The most important, the staff was lovely ! We have an incredible stay thanks !
