Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

The manager extended a warm welcome and offered us excellent suggestions for places to visit in and around Lijiang. The inn's staff is also incredibly considerate. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and the room design is quite appealing as well.

Super cozy place, both the private room and dorms (tried both). In a quiet alley in the old town, serves good and fairly priced food and most of all very accommodating owners - helping and giving advice and also really nice to just talk with them. Would always book here when I’m in Shangri La.

Beautiful hotel, the room was huge and extremely clean. The location is excellent but the best part was the employees. They were all extremely helpful and kind. Helped me several times, especially with ordering stuff online. Special thanks to Frida, she was an angel.

The host and his mother were very kind to invite us to join them and their family for a New Year dinner which was wonderful. Breakfast was great.

The convenient location was our base for exploring the old streets filled with shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes, historical buildings, as well as new shopping malls across the main road. The friendly front counter lady gave suggestions on places to eat. We tried them and they were all great. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s ceiling heater to keep the shower area warm during winter.

Located in the heart of Kunming, Cachet Boutique Kunming Artime 昆明彩云里凯世精品酒店 features lavish guestrooms with elegant and comfortable interiors. Everything, really. The location, the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff. EVERYTHING! We didn't originally plan to stay here but our first booking was cancelled by the operator at 3am when we landed in China. Talk about bad luck. But Cachet Boutique came to our rescue. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room. Thank you so much.

Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation. Having a view of the old town from the patio already made our stay here an experience like no other. It's clean, close to the gate and away from the hustle and bustle of both the outer city and the crowded old town.
