Over breakfast (which he brought in every morning) he would stay and chat to give us invaluable tips on which beaches to go to, where to eat and drink, and what to see. He organised boat trips and car hire for us at no extra cost, and was always doing more than necessary to make us comfortable. A true gent, and so proud of his country, Sidney is a living advert for Curaçao.

I had a wonderful time in this fabulous place, that offers you a "feel like home" stay. Everything is very artistic, functional and each detail is taken care of. The loft has a small and totally functional kitchen, a huge comfortable bed, dinner and resting area, and a nice outside space with a view to the splendid garden. Johannes was very kind and helpful, and so is the staff. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, located in the center of the island, which was really strategic to reach any site, in at maximum 30 min. That's the time my longest trip demanded. The environment is adult public oriented, very easy going, free and private. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful days at Thuishaven!

Villa Amalie was everything we hoped for and more. The owners work hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. The accommodations were spotless and thoughtfully designed. Our favorite part was the included breakfast and coffee machine. This was such a convenience when preparing for our day. One of best parts about the hotel is the location and free, secure parking. It was very quiet at night. You can easily walk to all the restaurants and sights in Punda and Otrabanda but what we most appreciated was the easy access to the main roads which lead to the beaches. If you plan on visiting beaches by day and Willemstad at night, this is the best place you can stay. You won’t have to maneuver the busy streets of Willemstad. Oh, and the shower and A/C are fantastic!,
