I had a wonderful stay at Fano Kroogard. This is lovely waterside boutique hotel on the island of Fano. It is perfectly situated on the North side of the island. It is 5 minutes by walk from the ferry and 20 minutes by bike to the beach, with bikes available to rent on site. The whole property has a calm and cozy ambience. There is a reading nook on the main floor, and a terrace overlooking the waterfront. The decor is so well done with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. If you manage to get a suite overlooking the water, you’ll be able to take in the wildlife of the Wadden sea, and see seals out your window. There is a restaurant on the main floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a hotel guest, the breakfast in the morning is a choice between several local inspired dishes. I had several different meals at the restaurant and every time the food was delicious. For lunch they offer traditional open sandwiches and for dinner several vergetable and seafood entrees. The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot on the island among locals, as it was always full. Above all, the staff is so lovely and they made my stay extra special. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a seaside view and provided excelled recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Horses, llamas and ostriches are among the variety of animals living on the Øst Trøgelborg Farm Holiday site. The location (closeness to the airport, Legoland/Lalandia, Billund town and rural surroundings), the farm as a whole, the playground on the farm, the extreme friendliness of the hard-working owner of the farm, the animals on the farm, the quiet and healthy surroundings (although the farm is only a few kilometers from the airport, no plane could be heard), the apartment (fully equipped with cooking facilities, i.e. electrical plate and microwave, cutlery, dishes, towels and bed linen), the cleanliness of the apartment and the friendly guests staying there. The farm is a paradise, especially for kids and their parents. It was also the first time that our children did not turn on the tv during holidays. When we were at the farm, they were always playing outside, mostly also with other children, and made a lot of new friends. We also decided not to rent a car as the owner of the farm was so kind as to provide, against a small fee, transport to and from Legoland/Billund town or Lalandia in the mornings and late afternoons. This was perfect for us.

In the center of Vejle, surrounded by the luscious green city park, you’ll find The Note. We are an international hotel of high standards. We are elegant and understated – just like Vejle. Everything was great! Hotel is in a good location, the rooms were cozy and had everything we would need. Staff were helpful and very friendly. If we ever come back to Vejle, we will definitely come back here.

We had a great stay for the weekend. The unit had everything we needed and was perfect for two people.
