Parking was an absolute breeze—you simply park in the main shopping mall’s underground garage, where there are plenty of spaces. It cost only £26 for two nights after getting the ticket validated at reception. If I’m not mistaken, £26 is the maximum charge, meaning even for a week-long stay, you’d only pay that amount as long as you don’t take the car out.

The apartment is very spacious and modern, totally comfortable for 4 people. The location is excellent - on a quiet street just a couple of minutes walk to Princes Gardens and Christmas markets. Perfect communication with their office throughout our stay. The office is situated in the building in front of the apartment, which is very convenient for luggage storrage after check-out. Many places where you can have delicious breakfast close to the apartment. Overall a great vacation in Edinburgh, would definitely choose this place again!

Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre, Malt House Apartments are only 2 minutes’ walk to the west end of Princes Street. The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Clean, cozy, modern, very comfy bed, and a lot bigger than expected. It's also close to the city center so everything is walkable. The kitchen is well enough equipped to prepare a few easy meals.

First opened in 1902, The Balmoral now offers rooms with a spacious marble bathroom and an interactive TV. Many rooms have views towards Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. My son Max and I had a magical stay at The Balmoral. The staff were just wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for Max (age 9). Our trip to Edinburgh was a special treat because he's a huge Harry Potter fan. He absolutely loved Edinburgh and all it's Potter lore but the stay in the Balmoral was by far the highlight of his trip because of how kind everyone was to us (as well as it being a beautiful luxurious hotel of course).

I have loved absolutely everything about this hotel: Amazing staff, gorgeous room with comfy beds and bathroom with proper heating, absolutely perfect breakfast, beautiful decor - I could not find a single flaw and could not have asked for a better hotel.

The guest house features family rooms. Loved the staff, the quiet and very clean room.We will be back.
