They spoiled us with so much kindness and care, from the peaceful breakfasts to the special little gestures for my partner’s birthday…something we’ll never forget. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what really matters. We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with soul—honest, intimate, and full of Balinese charm—this is it. We’d come back a thousand times over. Huge thanks to all the legends we met at Rumah Kayu. The villa we booked was absolutely stunning with a very private pool and a fantastic few into the canyon. Everyone is beyond friendly and eager to help at all times. Our booking included a turndown which I very much appreciated and the cleaning was always very well done. Breakfast was great as well. The shuttle to ubud centre is certainly needed since the location is not in close proximity to any shops or restaurants etc but that also comes with a more quiet location. Overall: Loved it! Would book again :)

This is our best experience abroad, the staff are amazing and super nice and very friendly, they helped us making plans and giving us important information. Also everything is clean and the swimming pool are amazing and they have good views. The food is very delicious. Also the lobby members are amazing and very friendly, they help us a loooot, and they have WhatsApp msgs support, so the life here became much easier because of they. We loved staying at Weda Cita Hotel. The staff were super nice—special thanks to Juni and Eka for being so kind, and honestly, everyone on the team was always smiling and greeting us warmly. The place itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The pool area is lovely, and the hotel’s restaurant serves one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. There’s a lot of food and plenty of variety to choose from. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. We’d definitely go back and recommend this hotel to everyone!

Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Perfect place to spend your holidays! Staying at Sakti Garden Resort was the best decision ever. The staff is super helpful and happy all the time - hospitality is a 10. The room was comfortable with a lovely balcony to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The pool is bigger than showed in pic, we had such a great time by the pool sipping some great cocktails!

If you have doubts about this one - don't. This hotel is definitelly the cosiest place on the planet earth. Never seen so accomodating, open and caring staff in my life. They definitelly went an extra mile for all our needs. But what was the most impressive they felt like a friends rather than the staff. They also have very interesting free activities in the hotel, must try! You can learn so much about the culture them during that time. Complimentary shuttle bus ready to take us around the Ubud area was VERY convenient, thank you!
